We are inviting applications from individuals interested in joining the Desferrioxamine-based Nano Chelators project. As a Research Assistant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of iron chelation therapy.
🔬 Research Project:
This project aims to evaluate the functional characteristics of desferrioxamine-based nano chelators for effective iron chelation therapy. As part of the project, you will be involved in conducting laboratory experiments, data analysis, and contributing to the overall research objectives.
🎓 PhD Registration at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Ruhuna
As a Research Assistant, you will have the opportunity to pursue a PhD degree at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Ruhuna. This full-time program spans a duration of 3 years, allowing you to deepen your knowledge and expertise in biochemistry and contribute to groundbreaking research.
🔍 Qualifications:
- BSc in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Chemical Biology with First-Class Honors or Second Class (Upper Division) – preferred
- Good analytical skills, communication skills, and competence in conducting laboratory experiments and data analysis
- Work experience in the field of “nanotechnology” would be an added advantage
